this is just one more reason why the Japanese should not have won against Cameroon. nor should they have been allowed on the world stage with such pathetic, childish antics. their whole culture is perverted with this prebuscent-teenage-girl/hello-kitty mind-set. please! please! please someone set them straight. this is ridiculous.

WTF is your problem @unsettled? Why do you make this into a forum for your anti-Japanese viewpointss?
How is this any different than a UK soccer hooligan or an American football fan who is painted from head to toe?
Here’s the answer: They’re not.
You’re just an idiot. It is YOU who should not be allowed on the Internet, let alone, the world stage with your childish antics.

@BoP: the fact that you think they look the same as other “hooligans” (they are not hooligans, they are fans and quite well behaved ones at that) shows that you dont understand.
how are they different? other teams may paint themselves but none of them wear a ridiculous plastic suit that makes them look like a drop of sperm. That is why the title of the article is “WTF Are These Japanese World Cup Fans Wearing?”, because what they’re wearing is strange (and in my opinion, stupid looking).

June 30th, 2010 at 12:49 pm@southcoaster, They wear bowling pins to say “Hit (beat) the opponent” like hitting a bowling pin. In Japanese, they use the same word. They don’t look like sperms to me though.

@southcoaster: Japanese has a different culture and probably do a whole bunch of stuff that you wouldn’t understand. Same goes vice versa.. Westerners probably do shit that the asians wouldn’t get that doesnt mean it is stupid or strange just because you grew up living a different norm..
Bottom line is they are there to cheer on their team so does it really matter how they dress up to show their support? Before this world cup would it have been weird to hear the buzzing noise?
