The Homeless Man with the Golden Voice is Now a Cleveland Cavalier

By now you may have heard about Ted Williams, the homeless man with an amazing voice found on a street corner near Cleveland. In the past 48 hours, his video has gone uber-viral with over 6M views on youtube.

It turns out the man with the golden pipes will be taking his talents to the Quicken Loans Arena. This morning, the Cleveland Cavaliers hired him for full-time voice work. The Cavs and Quicken Loans will also be paying the mortgage on his new house.

In the flurry of publicity, Ted has been contacted by numerous tv shows who wanted to feature his story and hear him speak. He was supposed to fly out to New York this evening to have a reunion with his 92 year old mother, but TSA agents prevented him from getting onto the plane. Being that he was homeless and all, he has no ID.
