Apple Scotland: Having a wee bit of trouble
For all the amazing things Siri can do, it’s still limited by your ability to be understood. Unfortunately for Scots, they don’t have an app yet for mind reading or sign language.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Alternative Commercial
Samsung has been doing a bang up job making fun of Apple lately, so maybe this parody was secretly leaked by some Apple fanboys. Who knows? There’s nothing like finding someone who believes their own hype, and taking them down a notch.

Star Wars Dog Choir Barks the Imperial March
This is actually supposed to be a commercial for Volkswagen, but really the people at VW were out to raise the bar on the cuteness overload from their hit Superbowl commercial last year. Consider it mission accomplished:
Here is the commercial that got all the buzz last year:

Charles Barkley Calls His Weight Watchers Gig a Scam
It’s a new year, so no doubt you’ve seen countless commercials for gyms and diets all over your tv and internet. Charles Barkley is on the bandwagon as Weight Watchers’ new pitchman–but maybe not for long. He’s really just scamming his partners for the free product.
Of course, he’s talking about how getting paid by Weight Watchers is a big scam. Sure you are, Charles.
Here’s one of his Weight Watchers’ ads. Still not a role model:

The Toughest Job in North Korea
I’m not sure what this has to do with insurance. Hopefully it’s dictator insurance to prevent his impending execution.
Samsung Hilariously Mocks Apple Sheeple
I don’t know if the Galaxy S II is any good, but their new ad is a clear shot at Apple’s cult followers. And that’s okay because the laughs are worth it.
This Dog Can Kick Your Ass at Pool
After years of practice, hustling at the pool hall turned out to be a better racket than sitting with all the other dogs playing poker.
Justin Bieber Makes Grown Men Scream
For all the hatorade aimed at Justin Bieber, you have to admit this is really damn funny. And a viral hit for Macy’s going into the 2011 holiday season. It’s almost as popular as when he got pumped full of lead on CSI earlier this year.
Before He Was Famous: Stephen Colbert in Bank Commercial
A youtube user recently unearthed this commercial and put it online nearly 3 months ago, but people are just discovering it now. Some time in what appears to be the early 90s, Stephen Colbert did a commercial for the First Tier Bank in Nebraska. Too bad it didn’t save them from going out of business earlier this year.
The Free Flexor Takes Shake Weights to a New Level
While the website for the Free Flexor has an order page that takes your info, we’re still not sure if this is real workout equipment or an elaborate prank. Let’s just say that whether or not this is really meant to help tone your muscles, an inventor somewhere knew exactly what was going to happen when he released this on the world, and he’s wearing his trollface straight to the bank:
Ad Competition: Create the Best Pitch for Banning Religion
Here’s something you won’t see in America any time soon. This Australian tv show, The Gruen Transfer, is oriented to the advertising business. The gist is that they give advertisers a really difficult task and see how well they sell it, and their panel of gurus critiques the work. That’s not the unamerican part. What’s special about this particular episode is that the competitors had to make ads that advocate banning religion–and they were pretty well done.
While banning is obviously extreme and this is only an exercise, certain corners of the internet have been actively making fun of superstitious logic for years–but there’s a big difference between chipping away at belief and an outright ban.

After the jump, here are 2 very different arguments on banning religion. One takes a lighthearted approach; the other looks like a negative campaign ad:
Nunchaku Ping Pong with “Bruce Lee”
I don’t care if this isn’t really Bruce Lee. If it isn’t doctored, it’s damn amazing whoever it is. This video is the long version of a Nokia commercial shot for the Chinese market. Needless to say, it went viral without much help:
Old Spice Ruins a Good Thing: Replaces Isiah Mustafa with Fabio
There’s a maxim that sports fans often remember about coaches: you never want to be the guy who replaces a great coach. It’s better to be the guy after that guy.
Well, Old Spice has officially moved on from Isiah Mustafa, better known as The Old Spice Guy whose commercials have been hilarious viral hits for the past 18 months. But alas, just because all good things must come to an end doesn’t mean they must be replaced by mediocrity. Despite that fact, Old Spice went with Fabio anyway:
